In a land where the media and publishing worlds have long been dominated by a clutch of domestic giants, independent publishing company Pure Aura Books comes out of a desire to showcase the sides of the world that other media largely ignore. We believe that books are still the most progressive medium and the most powerful vehicle for storytelling and idea sharing in which we can compile and build a narrative.
Our far most concerns lie in how we can create epistemic platform for people to come together, as in being member of a local and regional collective.
More than ever we need voices to tell the story that includes all the citizens: men and women, the liberal and the conservative, the rural and the urban-namely microhistory and histories of everyday life.
Pure Aura Books aims to publish some of the best in modern and contemporary writings, including translations. We want to open up publishing and help readers discover inspiring writings.
